say sláinte! with this potato vodka cocktail
Take one sip of this tasty vodka cocktail and you’ll be saying Céad míle fáilte (a hundred thousand welcomes) all night long.
When you think of vodka, you think of potatoes, right? Well, it turns out that most modern vodkas are actually made from grains such as wheat and barley, or even grapes. However, there are a few distillers that still use the traditional tater, including the popular Polish brand, Chopin. So why not toast with a true potato vodka cocktail garnished with a french fry and a sprig of rosemary?
What You’ll Need
- 3 ounces Chopin Vodka
- 1 ounce dry vermouth
- Fully cooked waffle-style french fry
- Sprig of rosemary
Let’s Do It
- Pour the vodka and vermouth into a cocktail shaker filled with ice
- Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass
- Push a sprig of rosemary through the waffle fry and drop it in the glass
