Peach infused vodka

In a world of personalized stationary, monogrammed clothing, customized flatware and signature recipes, why not make your very own specialized vodka? Infusing vodka with a unique flavor is a lot easier than you think with our peach infused vodka recipe.
You’ll need to start with a really neat looking jug or jar. While you can make this recipe in practically any receptacle, we stick by the theory that it tastes better if it’s in a cool container.
Picking peaches is super simple – just smell the fruit. Peaches are members of the rose family so the yummy ones are going to smell sweet. You should also look for peaches that have creamy gold and yellow undertones.
When you see peaches that are red, it’s just in indication of variety, not ripeness. Unripe peaches should be stored on a countertop, and ripe peaches should go in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator to maintain their freshness.
Serve your infused vodka on ice for sipping or add it to sparkling water for a peach spritzer.
- 10 peaches
- 4 cups water
- 6 cups vodka
- 2L bottle or jar
- Cut a small X in bottom of peaches then place them in boiling water, 2 at a time for 45 seconds. Remove peaches and place in ice bath (this helps the skin of the peaches peel off easily). Peel skin off peaches and slice into thin slices.
- Place peaches into 2L bottle or jar and then add vodka. Soak peaches for 5 days.
- Remove peaches before serving. Enjoy!
