What You’ll Need
- Felt fabric in two colors
- Buttons
- Rickrack ribbon
- Scissors
- Adhesive
- Marker
- A tall drinking glass

Let’s Do It

Measure and cut a piece of felt that’s large enough to wrap around the drinking glass with at least one inch of overlap–place the bottom of your glass in the top-middle of the felt, and then trace the top of the owl’s head and the inside edges of the ears

Make two snips to create the outside edge of the triangle-shaped ears, and then cut away the top and bottom of the felt to create a long, rectangular strip with the owl ears in the middle

Cut out a small triangle of felt in an alternate color to serve as the owl’s beak

Glue the beak and buttons to the felt to create the owl eyes; if desired, stack smaller buttons inside larger ones to create a 3D effect

Glue the rickrack ribbon to the felt, and then let it all dry

Wrap the felt around the drinking glass, glue the overlap together (taking care to not glue the felt to the glass), and then trim away any excess

Salut!
