What You’ll Need
- 12″ x 12″ cork boards
- Poster board to be cut into 12″ x 12″ squares
- Dry erase cling wrap (optional)
- Chalkboard wrap or paint
- Adhesive spray
- Velcro, twine, thumbtacks, mini clothespins and other decorations
- 1″ -2″ ribbon
Let’s Do It
Start by measuring and cutting your poster board into 12″ x 12″ squares. Next, using the adhesive spray, glue two poster board squares together to make a single double-thick square, and then attach the cork boards or dry-erase cling wrap to the poster board square via adhesive spray. (You can also simply secure the cling-wrap by folding any extra material over the corners and taping to the back side.)
Repeat with the chalkboard wrap and another double-sided poster board square, or paint the surface with chalkboard paint. (Another suggestion is to create a magnetic board by painting a 12″ x 12″ piece of wood with magnetic paint.) Finally, bedeck your bulletin boards with twine, Velcro, thumbtacks, mini clothespins, and any other decorations. A 1″ to 2″ wide ribbon is a great way to hide seams and bring multiple panels together into a single board.
